Four killed as Boko Haram attack shuwari village in Borno state

Four persons were killed in Boko Haram invasion
of Borno village, the Chairman of Borno State
Emergency Management Agency, Mr. Ahmed
Satomi, said on Friday.
Satomi said the attack was on a village, Shuwari
in Konduga local government area of Borno State.
He said during the attack on Thursday night, the
hoodlums stormed Shuwari village in Konduga
LGA, killing four civilians, looted and carted away
food items as well as burnt down the village.

camp and Maiduguri for safety.
He said “We have gone to the village on Friday in
the morning to evacuate the victims; four people
were killed, they looted and carted away the food
items after they set the whole village ablaze.” Shuwari is about 13 miles away from Maiduguri,
the Borno state capital.
The Boko Haram insurgents have continued to
intensify attacks on the troubled Borno State
killing hundreds of civilians and properties worth
millions of Naira lost.
